For starters, Advanced Watertek has a zero environmental incident record and over 365,843 man-hours completed without any Lost Time Injury (LTI) from August 2014. Since the company’s inception, the safety of staff and those operating our machines has been our top priority. We periodically evaluate and comply with all regulatory requirements relevant to employee health and safety, ensuring a safe and incident free environment. As such, performance is continuously measured against incident records and compliance of Health and Safety standards.

Identifying Risks

Risks are regularly identified, analysed and mitigated through immediate action. Additionally, all staff must undergo extensive safety training in order to stringently enforce current safety standards. In instances where we send our technical team onsite to offshore rigs for installations and maintenance purposes, to ensure complete safety compliance, only fully BOSIET certified members are dispatched.

Advanced Watertek’s Safety Processes

Our QHSE Engineer, Mansoor, is very confident in the company’s safety efforts and was keen to deliberate on the process.

“In terms of health and safety, what we are doing is, we conduct a monthly health and safety spot-check. In that process, we cover every area of the facilities where we analyze everything that could go wrong which might be related to an incident. We note it on the report and then in the same week, we bring it up at a committee meeting.”

When Advanced Watertek has any activities that are brand new, Mansoor and his team conducts a risk assessment where they analyze the consequences, the criticality and severity of the activity and decide which measures need to be taken.
